What is Microdermabrasion?
icrodermabrasion is an exciting new skin therapy which resurfaces the skin by the exfoliation of the top layer.
This removes the dead skin cells from the surface and at the same time rejuvenates the skin. It does this by stimulating the production of collagen which restores elasticity.
You will see a noticeable difference after just one treatment, but with a series of six treatments, you will see your skin take on a new radiance, smoothness and glow.

Microdermabrasion uses a diamond wand along with vacuum suction. This deeply exfoliates the surface of the skin and all the debris is removed by the vacuum suction. The vacuum suction lifts the underlying structures and improves the texture of the skin. It also improves lymphatic drainage which reduces puffiness and transports waste away from the skin.
You will see a result after the first treatment. Your skin will look radiant and refreshed. It will feel softer and smoother. Fine lines will begin to diminish and the colour and tone of the skin will be more even. There is no ‘down time’ – you can have this treatment in your lunch hour and go straight back to work.
The top layer of dead skin cells is removed with each microdermabrasion treatment. The vacuum suction stimulates the healthy new cells to form. As each layer is removed the supple skin underneath rises to the surface.
It is best to have a course of six treatments – one treatment per week for six weeks. After a course of treatments, the new cells that were stimulated in your first treatment are now at the top and are supple and full of energy. This is the process that diminishes fine lines and wrinkles.
To keep your skin healthy and balanced, and to renew the effects of microdermabrasion, it is best to have a treatment approximately every four weeks.
